How do weather cancellations work?

In the event that prohibitive weather occurs, we will notify you via text and email 24-hours in advance letting you know that the trip will not be running. In the event of prohibitive weather, you will receive a 100% refund.

Where can I store my valuables?

We have locked storage available inside the vehicles where you can store small valuables like your phone, wallet, and keys. We do not recommend taking any valuables with you during the float. Storage is small and will not be able to accommodate large items such as suitcases or duffel bags.

What is the refund policy on public trips?

We issue 100% refunds for cancellations made more than 48-hours in advance of the scheduled trip time. We do not issue refunds inside of 48-hours of the scheduled trip time. We do not issue refunds for no-shows. In the event of weather that cancels one of our trips, we will give you a 100% refund. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance of your trip or do not show up for your trip, no refund will be issued. No exceptions.

How and when will I get my refund? You will receive a confirmation email regarding your refund within 24 hours. Please allow 5-10 business days for this refund to post to your account.

Do your vehicles have A/C?

Yes, most of our vehicles do have AC.

Can you drink in the vehicle?

You are allowed to drink in the vehicle, but please drink responsibly. We reserve the right to revoke drinking privileges while in the vehicle.

My credit card is expired or cancelled. How will I get my refund?

If the card that you have refunded is expired or cancelled, your new card will be credited with the refund. In the rare case that you don’t have a new card, the bank will usually send the refund to your bank account.

In the worst case, the bank won’t know what to do, and will send the refund back to us, at which point we’ll contact you via email to ask how you would like to handle the refund.

Do we take walk-ons?

No. Please reserve a space online or by phone for a trip.

Are there restrooms in the vehicles?

No. There are restrooms available at the pick up and drop off location.

I booked with a voucher code or gift card and my order was cancelled. Can I reuse the voucher?

If your order was cancelled within our cancellation policy terms, you will receive a 100% refund. The credit will be refunded to the voucher code that you originally used so that you can use it again to book another trip.

Which river do you float?

We alternate between rivers based on which has the most optimal conditions for floating. We are unable to accommodate requests for floating specific rivers. Decisions on which river to float are made on a real-time basis. We are unable to notify customers of which river we will be floating in advance of the trip.

What do you provide for river tubing?

How long does it take to float the river?

2-4 hours. The drive to the river is about one hour each direction.

How long is the drive to and from the river?

About an hour.

What type of attire should I bring/wear?

We recommend bringing:

Are there restaurants near by? Should I bring food?

There are no restaurants on the trip and we make no extra stops. We recommend bringing snacks, wraps, or pre-made sandwiches.

Are children allowed? Are dogs allowed?

No. 18+, no exceptions.

Dogs are not allowed, unless it is a service dog.

Where do you meet for River Tubing?

We pick up at 2027 E 5th St., Austin, TX 78702.

Should I bring a life jacket?

Life jackets are not available at all of the outfitters that we float with. If you feel uncomfortable floating without a life jacket, we highly recommend that you bring one.

Can I bring my own cooler?

No. ATXcursions provides coolers which are included in the price of your ticket.

Can I provide my own tube?

No, do not bring your own tube. We cannot fit extra tubes in our vehicles. ATXcursions provides tubes.

What is the water temperature?

72 degrees year round.

How deep is the river?

The depth of the river varies depending on which river we float.

Are you handicap accessible?

No, at this time we are not handicap accessible.

Where do I park at the pickup/drop off location?

Free parking is available on 4th street.
